Introducing 2022-23 Climate Speaker Series
Developed by LWVP & Piedmont Connect

The League of Women Voters of Piedmont, together with  Piedmont Connect, announce a 2022-23 Climate Speaker Series. Piedmont’s two leading environmental education and advocacy organizations have jointly developed a Climate Speaker Series launching in September 2022 and running through May 2023.

The Climate Speaker Series will serve to educate constituents on a range of important topics to improve our understanding of the causes (sometimes surprising), perils (sometimes not fully recognized), and solutions to ongoing environmental pollution and climate disruptions.

We hope community members will participate to learn more about what’s possible and what’s necessary to transition to a net-zero-emission economy.

Below is a preview of some of the events in our 2022-23 Climate Speaker Series.
