January 6 Vigil for Democracy
Thursday, January 6th at 6:30pm
January 6th Vigil for Democracy
Join LWV Berkeley Albany Emeryville for a virtual candlelight vigil on January 6th featuring LWVUS Organizing Manager Alicia Gurrieri.

Groups across the country will be lifting up our voices to say: We are One America. Attacking our capitol to overturn an election can never happen again. The Senate must act to pass legislation immediately to protect our democracy.

No matter our color, background, or party, most of us believe that people who betray our nation and endanger our lives have no business governing in our name. That’s why we must stand together in this moment.
