LWVP Book Club
Kill Switch by Adam Jentleson
January 25th at 4pm
Join us Tuesday, January 25th at 4pm for the LWVP book club meeting. We will be discussing "Kill Switch: The Rise of the Modern Senate and the Crippling of American Democracy" by Adam Jentleson. Please register and leave the "Send Confirmation Emails to Event Registrant" checked to receive the Zoom link in your inbox.

Feel free to join us even if you have not yet read or finished the book. The discussion will have broader relevance than just a rehashing of the concepts in the book and we may just inspire you to grab a copy and read it for yourself!

The book club discussion is open to the public - you don't have to be a League member. We hope you'll join us!

Once known as “the world’s greatest deliberative body,” the Senate has become one of the greatest threats to our democracy. How did this happen?
