The League of Women Voters will host a virtual town hall on Piedmont’s plans for the new community pool.  In November 2020, Piedmont voters approved $19.5 million in General Obligation bonds to finance a new pool. The current pool closed indefinitely on September 8, 2020.

When:  Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 4pm
Where:  Zoom and YouTube (register for free to receive the Zoom link)

The event will include brief presentations from the city’s team, followed by audience Q&A moderated by Piedmont League President Lorrel Plimier.  To submit a question prior to the event, please fill out this form.

If you’re wondering what’s happening with the pool project, how the design and construction process will work, and how bond oversight will be handled, please join us to find out.
